02 / The person behind the camera

Always curious.
Always a work in progress.

Hello, I’m Putheareak.

I collect moments.
Then turn them into
something you feel.

I’m Putheareak Peng, a filmmaker and videographer based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, captivated by the beauty of everyday moments. The right angle, an unexpected detail, a scene that says something without a single word—that’s what keeps me reaching for my camera.

I’m always learning, trying new techniques, and finding new ways to tell a story. I don’t believe there’s such a thing as perfect. Just the joy of creating, embracing the process, and getting a little better every time.

Neither does my camera. A little collection of places, experiments, and things that caught my eye.
